The Survey Research component of Institutional Strategy and Analysis administers a series of recurring university surveys to NC State students, alumni, faculty, and staff. We also collaborate with academic units to develop and administer program-specific surveys to their graduating seniors and alumni, and coordinate and provide results on NC State’s participation in national student and faculty surveys. Our survey data support evidence-driven planning and assessment throughout the university, and are used by administrators, academic and non-academic offices, colleges and departments, UNC-General Administration, and the media.
ISA survey staff members provide support to the NC State community through the implementation of the University Regulation on Surveys of NC State Students, Alumni, Faculty, Staff and/or Administrator; by managing the university’s Qualtrics license and providing training in using this online survey tool; and through consultation on survey projects.
ISA is also responsible for the development, administration, and creation of reports on results for ClassEval, the NC State online course evaluation process.
